Etch and Oak is a military-owned business based in Yorktown, Virginia, specializing in custom engraved gifts, personalized products, and premium branded merchandise.

2. Custom & Personalized Products

Many of our products are made-to-order and personalized based on customer-provided information.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Verifying spelling, dates, names, and customization details before placing an order

  • Ensuring uploaded logos or artwork are authorized for use

  • Providing accurate shipping and contact information

Etch and Oak is not responsible for errors submitted by the customer during checkout.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify pricing at any time

  • Correct pricing or listing errors

  • Refuse or cancel orders suspected of fraud or misuse

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

4. Production & Shipping

Most orders are produced within 3–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Shipping timelines vary depending on carrier and destination. Once an order has shipped, Etch and Oak is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

Customers will receive tracking information once their order has been dispatched.

5. Returns, Refunds & Damaged Items

Due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales are final.

We do not accept:

  • Returns

  • Exchanges

  • Refunds for personalized or custom items

If an item arrives damaged due to shipping, customers must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Clear photos of the damaged product

  • Photos of the packaging and shipping box

Approved claims may qualify for a replacement at our discretion.

6. Natural Material Variations

Many of our products use real wood, slate, bamboo, and other natural materials.

Variations in:

  • Grain

  • Texture

  • Color

  • Engraving contrast

are normal and part of the handcrafted nature of the product.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including:

  • Logos

  • Product images

  • Branding

  • Graphics

  • Text

is the property of Etch and Oak and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

Customers retain ownership of any artwork or logos they submit for customization.

8. Limitation of Liability

Etch and Oak shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages

  • Delayed shipments caused by carriers

  • Customer-provided customization errors

  • Losses resulting from misuse of products

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product ordered.

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
